Thanks for the heads up on a new IDE.  For years, I've used Eclipse with PyDev and think I've gotten pretty good with it.  I don't know if it's the time I spent with it or the small percentage of its features that I use, but I don't find it that intimidating and I'm able to get my work done relatively easily.

That being said, some of the COhPy folks are using vi (or vim) with various plugins and I'm starting to explore that.
