I think it's a Motel 6 at Fishinger/Hilliard-Cemetary and I270 (Hilliard) that has a sign advertising $44. I've had coworkers stay at other hotels near there and the next exit south (Roberts road) and never heard them mention any safety concerns. Both areas would be about 8 miles and 25 minutes from OSU.
