Oh, good news - the other student we'd arranged Brian's laptop for
will bring one from a friend after all  - so it looks like we have the
laptop we need after all.  If you happen to be coming by tonight, it
wouldn't hurt to have a fallback just in case, but this isn't an
emergency after all.  Whew!
