This Data Applications Engineer position supports OSC external clients and internal projects in big data and analytics. This position will enhance OSC’s data analytics capabilities by developing data representations and analytics solutions, evaluating analytics platforms and supporting efforts for regulatory compliance.

The Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) provides high-performance computing (HPC) services as well as related training and education programs for a variety of clients. Stakeholders in OSC’s education and training efforts include: The Ralph Regula School of Computational Science at OSC, which provides assistance to Ohio’s Universities and Community Colleges in integrating computational science into their curricula; OSC’s AweSim program, which is working to provide a range of resources and services, including educational ones, to industry clients that don’t traditionally make use of HPC; national collaborators, who we develop materials and best practices with; and OSC’s clients.
