Hi All -
I work at Columbus State and manage our non-credit IT certificate programs with various employers around Columbus. (https://www.cscc.edu/for-business/it-workforce-certificates.shtml) Our certificate programs are in Software Development, Data Analytics and Cybersecurity, and are intended for individuals who may or may not have IT experience but are looking to reskill. The program participants are typically selected by an employer and are part of a cohort taking the courses together.
As part of the Data Analytics and the Cybersecurity programs we offer an introductory Python class. The course is 8 weeks long and typically runs from 5-7:30 one night a week. The next Python course begins Thursday, March 21 and we recently learned our anticipated instructor won't be available so we are actively looking.
If anyone on this list has an interest in teaching introductory Python (in March or beyond) I would be happy to share more information. Please contact me at koshea1 at cscc.edu<mailto:koshea1 at cscc.edu>.
Thanks,
Katie
