If you decide to download it as a zip file, please be sure to choose the desired branch before downloading it. Summary: EasySpreadsheet is a demo program in three stages. Each stage is a separate branch. Combined, the three branches show how to do the following: - Create and save a spreadsheet - Add data and labels to the spreadsheet - Rename the tab for the spreadsheet - Add a second tab - Create a 3D chart from data on the sheet Feel free to add discussions and comments to the wiki for the project. If you have problems, please add an issue. Travis ---- Travis Risner -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... We do data conversions, using and maintaining mainly our own programs, and we also assist with implementing some online services that use SOAP and REST APIs. The data conversion programs are actively maintained in various languages, one of which is Python, and tracked using SVN. Please email me if you'd like to know more. -- Albert L. The beginning Django talk was presented by Shelby Elzinga and John Cassidy. They covered why use Django and how to get started. The repository containing both the slide deck and the example Django code is available here . John also mentioned GitKraken , a useful tool to manage git with minimal fuss and muss. GitKraken is available to download for free. After a 7 day trial, it reverts to the ?free? features which allow you to work with public and local repositories. Please peruse the web site for specific features and subscription pricing for more advanced levels. This month we had 10 people who showed up at Improving (thanks Improving for hosting us) and 10 people show attended virtually. We will continue to improve our processes so everyone can participate. Next month we will have a presentation about a command line task manager written in Python. See how to develop a standalone project from scratch and some of the coding practices and techniques involved. The next monthly meeting will be a week earlier on *May 23*. If you are so inclined, join us for the weekly DoJo at Smokehouse Brewing Thursday nights from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Details are at the COhPy web site.
