Hello all,

Indian Linux Users Group, Chennai [ ILUGC ] is spreading awareness on
Free/Open Source Software (F/OSS) in Chennai since January 1998.

We usually meet on the second Saturday of every month, and for the
month of July we shall meet on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 1500 IST.

Venue: Classroom No 1,
            Aerospace Engineering,
            Near Gajendra Circle,
            IIT Madras.

Talk Details:

Talk 1: Contributing to Linux Test Project (LTP)

Description: A brief introduction to LTP, followed by sharing our
experience of contributing to LTP.
Duration: 20 minutes
About Speakers: Vaishnavi and Sikkandar Sulaiman work at Zilogic
Systems Pvt. Ltd.

Talk 2: Setting up OpenLDAP and use it for Ubuntu login

Description: Simple example to setup OpenLDAP and use that OpenLDAP
server for user management in Ubuntu.
Duration: 45 minutes
About Yourself: Mohan R is just another Linux user.

Talk 3: Distributed systems - Architectures and algorithms

Description: An introduction to various distributed system
architectures and algorithms, various FOSS distributed systems and
algorithm implementations.
Duration: 30 minutes
About yourself: Sahas is a programmer.

Talk 4: Contributing to Zephyr

Description : Introduction to RTOS, How RTOS differs from GPOS,
Motivation for using Zephyr.
Duration : 20 minutes.
Speaker: Fadhel Habeeb works at Zilogic systems Pvt Ltd.

The speakers are requested to only use F/OSS OSes for their
presentations. The talks will be followed by lightning talks, and Q&A
session.

Entry free. All are welcome.
