[Chicago] PyCon Bid Venue: IIT

Can someone with connections at IIT step up and make some initial  
contacts and maybe find out if there's a faculty/staff person who'd  
be up for being the official host/venue connected person this event?   
And, if such a person is found, can we verify that IIT has space that  
conforms to the requirements -- particularly with respect to space  
for growth as this seems to be the one sticking point with DePaul    
(or flip that order, whichever)?

If someone's willing to do that much (that little) footwork, I'd  
really appreciate it.  If you want to hand it off at that point, I'd  
be glad to take over and help work out the specifics of the bid, WRT  
costs, etc..  but if you want to get in deep with it, I'm obviously  
more than willing to not do the work ;-)
