This sounds like a great idea.  I have done some stop-motion animation
and have thought that this would be a great way to introduce the thought
processes of programming.  But actually doing such was a much bigger
project than I would attempt on my own.  To link an pedagogic animation
directly to sample code would be a fun project/projects.  I'm afraid I
can't make the code sprint on the 18th (I'm directing a play and we have
rehearsals) but I'd love to jump in on this project.
