If we're going to go with that line of thinking we should try also using
different days of the week, some people are busy pretty much every Thursday.

If we're going to stick to having meetings on the same day I see no harm
from having meetings at the same venue, especially if said venue is close to
public transit (and bonus points for having food and alcohol available
before, during and after the meeting).
