That's a slightly odd perspective on Microsoft, especially given that
IronPython and IronRuby both switched to an Apache license and IronPython is
getting closer to accepting external contributions. Plus, Microsoft recently
gave the PSF around $120,000 worth of MSDN subscriptions for core CPython
developers thanks to their Open Source Technology Center, a group focused on
making sure open source projects have the resources to operate successfully
on Windows.
