A lurker from Schaumburg. I also work in the city and find it hard to fight train schedules and suburban duties to stay late for Chipy. Though, I have made one... So, I'd love a suburban Chipy! I'd probably be able to make a lot more.

I am thinking a ChiPy-North SIG might me in order here. I can help :) We need to pick a day of the month (1st thursday, 3rd Thursday, ...). It can not conflict with ChiPy! I also suggest a special list, wiki, .... I will be able to attend most likely. This is going to be the best special interest group ever.

Yeah, it definitely sounds like we have enough people. I'd be happy to offer our office for meetings. We're located in Lake Forest right at the northeast corner of Rt 60 and 94. We have a large meeting room with projectors, we can have food delivered, usually have drinks stocked, and it's available pretty much every day of the week after 5:00 PM.
It sounds like we may want something more west though for those of you out in Barrington and Palatine. Driving around Lake Country isn't much better than driving down to the city.

Okay then there are plenty of us. Let's make this happen. Shall we scout locations?

Make that two lurkers in Palatine as well. I make it to the meetings when I can (really want to make the upcoming one), but the Metra schedule kinda sucks after 6:30p.
