You can try the distribution Joshua mentioned, but another way to use
python on a mac is to use the homebrew mac package manager and have it
control your python versions for you. That's what I use. I'm not sure
how new you are to doing like this on a mac, though. If you are
completely new to it, then I think going with what Joshua said is
probably the best.
