To use Jekyll with GitHub pages on Ubuntu 12.04, I had to install the
sudo apt-get install ruby1.9.1
sudo apt-get install libyaml-ruby
sudo apt-get install ruby1.9.1-dev
sudo gem install jekyll
sudo gem install redcarpet
