[Chicago] Survey: Raise your hand if your company uses Python

Clarity Solution Group is an IT consultancy -- basically data engineers
(plumbers) who also do reporting / analytics.

Python at clients is for pulling data from web APIs, light scripting, and
light analytics. Clients (Fortune 1000) usually use the Microsoft
Enterprise Service Bus to move information between APIs, and Informatica to
move it between databases. Or they have decades-old shell scripts that are
relied upon but not to be touched. And they almost all use SAS for
analytics.
