Hey Seth,

I would suggest that you check out the Python project nights.
http://www.meetup.com/ChicagoPythonistas/events/163257702/

Keep an eye out for any events which have work nights. Those should be able
to help you out with whatever questions you may have.

As Loren mentioned, there is the ChiPy mentorship program but the
registration just closed up.

Check out Learn Python the Hard Way and University of Michigan's Python for
Everybody (https://www.coursera.org/learn/python).
