Hi all—

The July meeting of ChiPy’s Web Special Interest Group is scheduled for Thursday, July 28. We are looking for a speaker or two (or three!) to fill about 30–40min of time on ANY subject that involves using Python to build and/or serve web applications. Please contact myself or Adam Bain (off list is fine) if you want to give a talk. This might be a great time to practice a talk if you plan to speak at a regional PyCon like PyOhio or PyGotham, or if you’ve never given a talk and want to take a crack at it. Meetings are very casual and there are developers of all skill levels, so there’s little pressure and the subject matter and complexity are wide open.

- You don’t need to be an experienced speaker
- Your talk doesn’t have to be complicated
- A talk can be 5, 10, 20, 30 minutes, whatever you need
- You don’t have to be a Django/flask/falcon/tornado/Python expert to have something meaningful to say

Please let us know sooner rather than later so we can properly promote the meeting and the speaker topics.

Thanks,
Chris Foresman
