[Chicago] Interesting CS Math

What specific math / math problems about computer science do you find
interesting?

Good answers should be fairly specific -- something you could study in an
heavily caffeinated afternoon or weekend. Answers like "linear algebra" or
"combinatorics" have applications to CS bit they are too broad.
