The Jam is a Collaboration Among Peers - Much Like a Dance[image: east coast
jam attendees]

Jams are jammers!-) Warmups, workshops, performances, and other structures
are intiated and lead by participants - the jammers. Also, stuff like
conversation,
music, weather and sprawling farmland, poetry, chocolate, theater, walks,
Maui, theater - life - will all be there - particularly if you bring a bunch
with you. Mirabai will be returning to concoct delicious food for us, and
dance with us, too!

*About the new site...*
Like the old site, the new one is for jam web presence and registration. But
there's more!-) The new site makes it easier for jammers to be involved
with the creation of the jam, to coordinate with each other, in preparing
for and following up on their jams, ... You can register without joining,
but joining will put you in the loop, so you can help make the jam what you
want it to be.

(If you have any suggestions, questions, etc, about this brand new
site, leave site comments or send an email to spring at eastcoastjam.com.
"Thanks" to the DC and Richmond jams for helping with the preliminary
shaking-out!)

See the About page <http://eastcoastjam.ning.com/page/about-1> for more info
about the jam and the site.

As ever, *spread the word* by inviting the people you like to dance with,
and forwarding this message to interested communities. We want to continue
to grow and deepen this lovely gathering.

 For details, visit eastcoastjam.ning.com.
(eastcoastjam.com will work, too.)

With love, your spring jam organizers,
Jamie, Ken, and Page

Christopher Robin came down from the forest to the bridge feeling all sunny
and careless and just as if twice nineteen didn't matter a bit - which it
didn't on such a happy afternoon - and he thought that if he stood on the
bottom rail of the bridge and leant over and watched the river slipping
slowly away beneath him then he would suddenly know everything that there
was to be known, and he would be able to tell pooh, who wasn't quite sure
about some of it ... -- A.A. Milne
