*Come dance!*
*Global Underscore - Sun June 21, 10-3, Asheville, NC*
*Talk-through: 10-11am*
*Underscore: 11:15am-2pm*
*Post-Underscore Lunch: 2-3pm *
*GLOBAL UNDERSCORE a global simultaneous practice!*
Imagine a group of people coming together, and without using words,
spontaneously choreographing and performing a brilliant and beautiful
symphony of movement, live in that moment with no planning. Sound cool?
That's an Underscore and you can be a part of it.
*Requirements:* Some exposure to contact improvisation, and being present
for a talk-through if you have not heard a talk-through previously (see
below). You don't need extensive dance training, just a familiarity with
contact improvisation (see introductory class description below scheduled
for Saturday June 20) and the willingness to stay present and relatively
engaged for the time you are there. It's FANTASTIC!
What makes the Global Underscore unique is its timing with simultaneous
Underscores happening around the world - an experience larger than just us!
:-)
G.U. cities: Bologna, Lisbon, Boulder, Mexico City, Knoxville, San Fran-Bay
area, Asheville, Northampton and many more cities around the world!
JCC Asheville, 236 Charlotte St, enter from Lenox St to Lenox Ct
$15 + $10 lunch = $25 (beautiful!) – pay at door
