I will not defend the choice of web framework that I didn't make and that
forces this upon us.

Ah, OK. It's a communication problem. I used the word paper to describe
the abstracts for the talks. In my academic community, it is very much
used like this, but I can see that it can be confusing. I'll rephrase,
and use 'call for contributions'.
