[Conferences] cheap food

Besides all the comments so far, note that Catherine's post is pertinent
regional conference planning:   You don't want to walk into a venue with
the words "conference" on your lips, and have them expect the scale of a
national-level PyCon (which is a lot of work for the venue).

Be sure to be clear, and you can get what you need, appropriate for the
size of what you are organizing.
