[Conferences] US East coast conference?

[Calvin Spealman]

A few months back some interest was expressed in a "pycon east" with two
years of pycon in san jose out west. I have heard someone picked up that
torch but can't find any information. Does anyone know of anything? If not,
if like to start preparing some ideas.
