[C++-sig] Very large binaries

Just did my very first ever link and was rather shocked to see a 23Mb 
DLL. No debug info, /Og optimisation.

Just compiling now will full optimisation and COMDAT folding 
(optimising for smallness obviously). But I'd doubt if it gets below 
18Mb.

Anything else I can do? That's seriously large wrap for only a 2Mb 
C++ library.
