there are several people having negative experiences with the combination
solaris, threads and python on the zope@zope.org lists. The problems are not
zope-related nor are they linked to DB-adapters in general, but seem to be
more apparent with zope, since it totally relies on threads, which of course
trigger the problem more often.

We are trying to pin down the problem, but so far have yet to find what
exactly it is that cause these problems... of course it there are bugs in
DCO2, that won't help either... :P
