[DB-SIG] What about a translation from a Java OR mapper to Python ?

Python also has several OR-Mappers. But I haven't used any of them,
yet, so I can't comment on their maturity.

Something *I*'d be interested in would be to reimplement an
ADO.NET-like API for Python. I. e. a higher-level interface for
relational databases.

>From the little I've used it, I find ADO.NET quite a useful API,
especially for data-bound controls.
