[DB-SIG] Really Sorry for this :) (was: kinterbasdb Strage problem..)

Hi all,
  I am really very sorry for my previous mail as
before mailing it to the list I had not checked the
forum on the sourceforge.net for the module. 

There is already the answer given in the "Problems
with mod_python?" thread. I forgot to give the
hostname in the dsn part..

But still I am somewhat confused. 

Why we need this hostname in dsn when we are using it
in a CGI app and why not when we are using some
Command Line (ie it works without the Host name)????
