It's going to be around a while on /Linux/ platforms, too.
RedHat 8.0 is the first chance to stamp it out from that
vendor; that's at least six months away; then give a reasonable
amount of time during which people haven't rolled forward
(many RedHat oldtimers avoid all .0 releases :-) - at least
another year, probably more.
