[Distutils] build_clib usage

hi there,

I'v discovered almost by accident the presence of
the build_clib command, and it seems to be what I'v
been looking for for a while. Where is this documented ?
The (online) distutils docs don't seem to talk about
it anywhere. What keywords can I pass to setup() to
generate a library via build_clib ?
