[Distutils] Timeframe of 2.0 again?

Ok. Don't tell my employer then. That's not enough pressure ;)

Also, what tools do people recommended for editing the documentation.
I've poked around in 'vi' and it ain't gonna compensate for my docbook
ignorance...
