I don't understand your question.  When Python is installed, it installs a 
copy of the Makefile that was used to create that Python installation.  So 
this has nothing to do with the source directory used to compile Python, 
only the contents of "/usr/lib/python2.x/config/" -- the directory where 
Python's build configuration information is copied upon installation.
