[Distutils] easy_install and packages with both egg and non-egg distributions

It's pyglet (www.pyglet.org). I'd be glad if I could suggest a patch.

Anyway, more generally, is there a known problem of coexistence of egg 
and subdirectory distributions? (as far as version specifiers are not used)
