I, for one, am happy you opened it now rather than in a few months time!

If Paul Nasrat takes up the challenge of documenting all the practical
issues associated with bundling pip with the CPython binary installers
as a PEP, I expect he will need to work closely with you to capture
the details on the Windows side of things.
