The gendoc link on the doc sig page (http://www.python.org/sigs/doc-sig)
points to the latest (0.5) release of gendoc by Daniel Larsson. 
Try it you'll like it:-)

Daniel is out on vacation until Aug. 5th.  You _might_ direct questions/
