This is great.  Is this a "definite" for the documentation?  If so, I can
get rid of the index I've been generating for awhile and just redirect to
this one.

Chris Petrelli suggested italics for the platform-specific docs.  I think it
would be better to have "sections" for each of the different platforms
instead.  That way, the last column might look more like (underscores denote
emphasis or bolding of some kind):

    whichdb 
    whrandom 
    winsound 
    xdrlib 
    xmllib 
    zlib

    _Macintosh_

    mac 
    macconsole 
    macdnr 
    macfs 
    MacOS 
    macostools 
    macpath 
    macspeech

Is that kind of division into sections possible?
