I just spent an hour digging around in the STNG wiki:

Now I'm unfortunately *sure* that it *doesn't* address the problems
discussed here.

STNG is a new software architecture that makes it easier to customize
and modify the ST implementation, but the ST wiki is almost totally
devoid from plans to fix the problems with the specific rules.
