Hi I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in the below role :
Web Application Developer - (Python / Django)- Permanent - Edinburgh - Up to £39k + Quarterly  Bonus

Abrecco are recruiting a Software Developer on behalf of our Edinburgh City centre based client to work on their innovative training products developed in Python. The successful candidate will be taking a key role in the development team and will have solid experience in the full development lifecycle of scalable web based applications. You will develop solutions for well known organisations, across various platforms including mobile.

Role responsibilities:
- You will develop and implement Web based solutions using Python and Django ensuring quality, scalability and performance
- You will participate in specification reviews of requirements, providing scalable solutions
- You will test delivered work to ensure high quality across different devices and browsers
- You will provide implementation and post implementation support as needed (within regular business hours)
-  You will have the Ability to keep several projects moving ahead simultaneously with minimum supervision in an Agile environment

Personal and technical attributes:
- Solid commercial Web development experience (2-3 years minimum)
- Python and Django framework experience ideally  however our  client is happy to consider good software engineers with experience of any object orientated language such as Java, C#,  Ruby, etc.  who have the desire to learn new technologies.
- Experience of building transactional web-based applications and websites with JSON, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS, JQuery
- Relational database experience (RDBMS) ideally with MySQL databases
- Ability to work in an agile environment and understand agile practices
- Knowledge of design and performance best practices for web-based applications
- Willingness to learn new technologies and be flexible
- Linux and Apache (ideally RedHat) would be highly desirable
- Experience of working in an Agile Environment
- Moodle or a similar virtual learning environment would also be an advantage

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate developer to secure a new challenging position at a very exciting time for our client. A competitive salary of up to £39,000 plus benefits that include a 15% Quarterly bonus is available for the right candidate.
