This is a good point.  I didn't even see the VPython uninstaller before.
I ran it, and yes, Numeric is gone.

Your solution sounds good.  I'll plan to get my next install of
Numeric and VPython from you.

I think you've established that Sherwood is not the world's most competent
packager when it comes to getting this app widely distributed.  That you
choose to get so hostile and confrontational about it shows the limits of
your competence in the "works well with others" department.  We all have
our disabilities.
