[Edu-sig] Another loop around garphics programming

I had written -

>I have read great books on analytic geometry, and great books on synthetic
>geometry - but no great books giving each approach equal weighting. Its up
>to me to synergize.

Thinking about this more carefully -

I synergize these perspectives on geometry precisely by learning the skill
of programming, providing myself the ability to make analytical geometry
actionable in the synthetic realm. Which, in the end, is a fancy way of
stating that I taught myself some of the fundamentals of computer graphics
programming - just with a bit more "pretense" than is normally brought to
the subject.

There's gold here, I have no doubt.

I reference the authority of Felix Klein.
