I think it about Python being effective in blurring the line between 
producer and consumer, programmer and non-programmer, which is why it is 
so effective as - among other things - the glue front-end.

And that while for some reason liking to provoke and masquerade as the 
opposite, *I* am more the progressive because not only do I see this 
potential in Python as what edu-sig is most significantly about, I've 
have spent great time and energy in exploring and offering an 
exploration of that potential.

Just so you are aware, I cannot help but seeing the ideas you express 
and the ideas I see expressed by Kay stuck in this "me programmer/you 
other" paradigm that to me is regressive, and all the rhetoric otherwise 
is compensatory for that fact on the ground.

We have less need for that kind of rhetoric.

Perhaps I am in fact off in the "blue" (in your meaning) yonder here - 
but I am not yet convinced of it.
