Hi Paul,

I have a feeling you're about to get more than you bargained for.
Kirby is a kind of Ground Zero for Bucky resources on the web--I knew
of him from my readings on Synergetics long before meeting up with him
in edu-sig. There is plenty of Bucky on the web to choose from,
although much (most) of it is copyrighted. The magnum opus,
Synergetics, is available here:

http://www.rwgrayprojects.com/synergetics/toc/toc.html

While it is copyrighted, many of the ideas in it lend themselves to
software expressions. When I was reading it (on traditional pulped
trees) I felt like there should be an accompanying set of small
programs demonstrating the ideas. Bucky expends a lot of text trying
to describe 3D animations in prose.
