Hi EuroPython organizers,
when I looked at the EuroPython 2007 site today, I noticed that is very
hard to find out where the conference actually takes place. It says
Vilnius, Lithuania everywhere, but the actual venue, the Reval Hotel
Lietuva, is only mentioned hidden away on the page "EuroPython special
accommodation". I'm not even sure that the phrase "which is the
conference hotel" means that this is where the talks and session take
place!?
The venue should to be mentioned clearly on the home page and in the
Location section! How do you expect people to book accommodation if they
don't even know, where they need to go for the conference? If the venue
is not known at this time, this should be stated cleraly as well, so
people know what to expect.
There is also no information about the conference venue on the
EuroPython wiki. Incidentally, the existence of the wiki is only
mentioned on the registration page on the main web page. There sould be
a link to the wiki in the top menu of the web page.
Kind regards,
Christopher Arndt
