Are there dates set for EuroPython 2010? I would like to know what the
interval is between it and the recently announced EuroSciPy, which will take
place from 8th to the 11th of July in Paris:

EuroPython 2010 - 19th to 22nd July 2010

I, too, would have liked to have had the dates posted to this list.

Well, Europython is organised by volunteers in the community for others in the
community, and so posting the dates, you've helped & given something back -
thank you :-)

Incidentally on the point of it being volunteer base, if anyone wants to get
involved in helping out with recording talks at Europython this coming year,
please get in touch.

I'm planning on recording again next year, and have some thoughts that would
make it even better, and would appreciate help - after all, whilst I'd like
to make contingency plans about being in multiple tracks at once it *is*
rather tricky :-)

Merry Christmas,

Michael.

I probably missed something, but it appears I'm not the only one. Why
isn't europython.org / europython.eu used for this? Or at least a link
to the europython2010.eu site on europython.org?

How are people supposed to know to look at the 2010 domain in stead?

Regards

Ivo

Dunno. I saw the link on the list & forwarded it.

People could check the mail archives for this list as well, but, well, I can't
be bothered being grumpty about it. Especially not this time of year.
Especially not when it's snowing. :-)

> How are people supposed to know to look at the 2010 domain in stead?

It could either be an oversight, or a concious choice. After all, we're still
slightly closer to europython 2009 than we are to europython 2010. :-)

Have fun,

Michael.

I think it's time to update the main domain:

europython.eu -> europython2010.eu

The 2009 version is already available as europython2009.eu.

Just a suggestions: Wouldn't it be easier, cheaper and less risky
to manage these historic (and possibly future) versions as sub-domains
of europython.eu (ie. 2009.europython.eu and 2010.europython.eu) ?
