Both. You can expect Tutorials at all levels. At this stage we don't
know what they will all be (which is why there is a reduced early bird
rate), but even at this stage we do know that there will be
introductory talks on Python and IronPython, and more advanced talks
on web frameworks.

We will be running tutorials in (probably) two streams on the Sunday,
and four or more on the Monday, so there will be plenty of opportunity
to mix and match according to your guys' requirements.

To get an idea of the range of tutorials to expect, check out the ones
at last September's PyCon UK:

http://pyconuk.org/timetable.html

that is on Friday 12th September.

Hope this helps,

best wishes,

John

Also, if your company would like a particular topic covered by a

reading this note make take that request as a hint that they should
go off and write one.

EuroPython 2004, there is any possibility that you can share this
software ??

I'm currently working on an internal scientific conference on my

Thanks,

Joachim Schmitz has sadly died in the meantime, so I do not think that
you can get _his_ software. I will let the people who put together
this years (and last years, and PyCON UK's) software speak for it.

Yes, absolutely correct.

One room at the Etap holds 3 people (if they're close friends!). The
price is per room, not per person.

I've not been able to make this go wrong, and it does not appear to
have been a problem for other people either. Possibly you're entering
your Norwegian code and using the 'find address' button which only
works with UK addresses?

If you send me the address details which you are entering I'll test it
some more.

Best wishes,

Hi John,
When entering data into the form, "auto-fill" kicked in and selected
"NORWAY" from the drop down menu. This happened without the required
reload of the form.
I selected a different country, waited for the reload then selected
"NORWAY" again and the form was able to process my registration.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Newsflash!
A large number of Pythoneers has signed up already, for this reason
alone it is worth booking!

If you already know you are joining the conference, why not save some
money in these financially uncertain times and take advantage of the
extra early bird rate!

The extra early bird rate is just 95 GBP for the conference (70 GBP
for the tutorials) and ends this Saturday 14th of March.

You can book your conference and hotel all at once. Register at
http://www.europython.eu/registration/ .

The talks submitted so far promise to be very interesting and practical.
We have room for more though, go to
http://www.europython.eu/talks/cfp/ for this year's themes, and
submissions criteria, the deadline is on 5th April 2009.

Hi Europython Organisers,
We will be attending (about 5-6 of us from Netsight) Europython
this year, but have a request... we have a 14 year old work placement
student who will be at Netsight for that week. Would it be possible
to bring him along to Europython as well? If so, would there be
additional cost for this? We are not sure yet if we will bring him to
all three conference days, or just for one/two days.

Thanks,
-Matt
