Initial Comment:
./configure works fine. But when I run >make 
I get nothing
it just exits quietly without doing anything
if I run 
>make install
i get 
/bin/sh ../libtool --mode=compile cc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H
-DPACKAGE=expat -DVERSION=1.95.0 -I. -I.. -g -c
libtool: compile: cannot determine name of library
object from '-c'
*** Exit 1
Stop.
*** Exit 1
Stop.
Any help with this bug would be greatly appreciated.
