[Expat-discuss] Entity references: how not to parse?

Okay, so when expat reads one of the five pre-defined general entity 
references (such as ``&'') it converts them into the character they 
represent (such as ``&''). That's great for most applications, but what 
I want to do is /not/ have these entity references converted.

Is there a way to do this using expat 1.95.2?
