OK.  What I'm saying is that package maintainers that depend on the
expat shared library in linux distros will be more understanding on
binary incompatibilities when transitioning from v1.2 to v2.0, than
they would from v1.2 to v1.3,... or from v2.0 to v2.1, for that
matter...
