Hallo!
I putting together a translation strategy for English as source and
German as first target language.
Are there known Paython translation tools?
I would like to know if there is a group dealing with such.
I would also like to know if there is a group dealing with "Basic
English" or "Simplfied English".
Finally which group(s) deal with English Style ?Writing?
Thanks for your response and for any help.
Kind regards, forkinpm.

Hi there,

I currently live and work in Zurich, Switzerland and wondering why there
is no swiss python user group yet. At least, I haven't discovered any yet.
In the company I work (http://www.even-ag.ch/), we are using a lot of
python and we are quite satisfied with our results. I'd like share our
experiences in development with python and to encourage other people to
use it, especially in Switzerland.

Comments?

Message-ID: <eb5859de0809150055l3e89a6a9u180338e1e6a33c1d@mail.gmail.com>

Hi All,
I'm pretty new to python, and absolutely love it. So much faster to code
than Java:) I'm looking to start a users group in Malaysia, because as far
as I can tell from all my searching there isn't one available yet. Anybody
have any tips / tricks or advise on how to get a user group going?

Cheers,

Unfortunately, no one seems to be answering queries to this mailing list
anymore. The best I can do is point you to:

http://wiki.python.org/moin/Advocacy/UsergroupSupport

This may also be useful:

http://mail.python.org/mailman/private/group-organizers/2008-May/000054.html

(and other things in the group-organizer archives)

If you're motivated to update and expand the pages on the wiki based on
your experiences, that would certainly be helpful to others. Yours is
not the only request that has gone unanswered in the last six months.

Good luck with it!
