Hi all,
I'm Carol and I co-organize San Diego Python and PyLadies San Diego.
Although I missed the PyCon open space, I wish that I hadn't :)
Thanks to Trey my introduction will be brief. We do all of what he
mentions. A couple of additions:
- Occasionally, we have speakers like Travis Swicegood of Continuum for
a special monthly meeting. If you are ever in town, please let us know
since we would like to have you as a speaker.
- This year, we teamed with the other Southern California Python groups
as well as Southern California PyLadies groups to have two expo booths
at Southern California Linux Expo (SCALE). We hope to do it again next year.
- Inspired by Shauna's poster on WelcomeBot, we recently added a Welcome
Bot to the San Diego Python IRC channel.
I'm enjoying reading all the cool things everyone is doing.
Warmly,
Carol
