Some of you may not be aware, but there is a user group calendar
for Python user group events maintained by a group of volunteers
(including myself).

More about the Python events calendar:

https://wiki.python.org/moin/PythonEventsCalendar

Details on submitting an event:

https://wiki.python.org/moin/PythonEventsCalendar#Submitting_an_Event

The events will then show up on the python.org homepage as well
as https://www.python.org/events/, the https://twitter.com/PythonEvents
twitter feed and the RSS channels of the calendars.

If you want to find regional events, you can use this map mashup:
http://lmorillas.github.io/python_events/

Cheers,
